ASRock has announced a motherboard based on NVIDIA Ion Platforms

In addition to the company nettops ASRock prepared a separate new motherboard based on the platform NVIDIA Ion. Novelty called A330ION.
The device is made in the form factor Mini-ITX, has dimensions 170h170 mm and is based on the chipset NVIDIA MCP7A-ION. This model is equipped with pre-2-core processor Intel Atom 330 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz, two slots for installing memory modules DDR3 standard with up to 1066 MHz for a total capacity of up to 4 GB, four-port SATA2, integrated multi-channel 7.1 sound chip, an integrated graphics core GeForce 9400 and one slot to install a discrete graphics adapter with interface PCI-Express x16 2.0. Built-in video chip has support for DirectX 10, Shader 4.0, capable to decode high-definition video in Full HD resolution of 1080p, and display them on monitors at resolutions up to 2560 × 1600 pixels. To connect the monitors are designed interfaces D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. Also contains a new Gigabit Ethernet interface Ethernet, four-port USB 2.0, two ports eSATAII / USB, PS / 2 connector for keyboard, optical output SPDIF. Also on the PCB mainboard are two additional connector USB 2.0, ensuring the involvement of additional four ports.
Another worth noting that the developers have provided their offspring with original features such as ASRock OC Tuner, Instant Boot, ASRock Instant Flash, ASRock OC DNA, Hybrid Booster, CPU Frequency Stepless Control, ASRock U-COP, Boot Failure Guard (BFG) and Good Night LED.
